Burgers with Hidden Veggies

Sometimes we just don’t want to eat all the veggies.

But our body still needs them to support our healing.

So why not tuck them into foods so they’re disguised in “normal” food.

You can serve these up to your family too.

Description:

These burgers are a great dinner or make them into sliders for an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra lean ground beef
  • 1 Cup broccoli (finely chopped)
  • 1 Cup cauliflower rice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ Cup sweet onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tbs parsley (chopped)
  • 2 Tbs cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 12 bacon slices

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients (except bacon) in a bowl and mix well. Form into approximately 6 burger patties.
  2. Heat skillet to medium and cook patties until golden brown on each side (approximately 4-5 minutes each side).
  3. While burger is cooking, in a separate skillet cook bacon slices. (You can reserve the extra fat in a glass jar to use as a fat/oil in future cooking.)
  4. Remove from skillet and serve on romaine lettuce and top with bacon.
